How Vid2Sprite currently handles browser-based usage and product-related privacy questions.
What the app does
Vid2Sprite is a browser-based tool for converting video into sprite sheets. The current product does not require an account and does not include payments.
Local processing
Video processing and export workflows are intended to run locally in your browser session. The app is designed so you can use the core tooling without sending your source footage to a backend service.
Analytics and error monitoring
Vid2Sprite uses Google Analytics to measure site traffic and product usage, and Sentry to monitor production errors. Google Analytics may collect page views, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction data through cookies or similar technologies. Sentry may receive technical error details, browser metadata, and default network information such as IP-derived context when a production failure is reported. These integrations are intended to monitor the site itself, not the contents of your source footage or exported sprite assets.
